Job Description:

As an Accounting Assistant Intern, you will support various accounting and finance tasks, contributing to accurate financial record-keeping, data analysis, and administrative duties. This role offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in the field of accounting.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Provide support in research activities, filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Gain insight into the role of an integral member of the Accounting team, assisting with data compilation, analysis, information tracking, and client/company support.
• Assist in day-to-day financial tasks, administrative duties, and various finance-related functions.
• Contribute to the creation of daily financial reports.
• Collaborate on the development of company research reports.
• Aid in accounts receivables and accounts payables tasks.
• Undertake key administrative roles and address ad-hoc assignments within the Accounting Department.

Requirements:

• Pursuing a Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Studies, Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in computer use and familiarity with accounting systems are advantageous.
• Effective communication skills in both Malay and English, in spoken and written forms.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated multitasking capabilities while maintaining motivation and positivity.
• Familiarity with fundamental accounting principles.
• Willingness to work at our Langkawi Island location.
• Self-initiative, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Prior work experience is not required.
